Rooted in Croyde
Since 1902.
A 16th-century coaching inn, a family local, and North Devon's most welcoming pub.
OUR STORY

A History Worth Telling.
The building dates back to the 16th century, when it served as a coaching inn and resting place for weary travellers and their horses. The original Coach House still stands on site, a reminder of how long this place has been welcoming people through its doors.
"Its walls have plenty of stories to tell listening ears."
In 1902 it became a public house. Today, The Manor is run by Helen, Lindsay, Sean and the team, keeping the same spirit alive. Good food, honest hospitality, and a genuine warmth that makes everyone, locals and visitors alike, feel at home.
THE BAR
The Heart of The Manor.
Real ales, cask bitters, a proper wine list and a selection of spirits that will keep you busy for an evening. Pull up a stool at the bar, take a corner seat with the dog, or head out to the sheltered garden when the sun's out. When North Devon's weather does its thing, there's always a cosy nook waiting for you inside.

FAMILY & DOGS
Family First.
Families have always been at the centre of The Manor. The outdoor play park gives little ones somewhere to burn off energy while the grown-ups take their time over a meal. Well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout the bar and all outdoor areas. Don't miss the dog station, stocked with fresh water and biscuits.
LOCATION
A stone's throw from the coast.
The Manor sits just off the village centre on St Mary's Road. Baggy Point's 1.7-mile clifftop walk starts, and ends, perfectly from the pub, and Croyde Beach, Saunton Sands and Putsborough are all within easy reach. The perfect base for a day on the coast.
